Friends get membership benefits of reduced late fees and extended due dates (for all but bestsellers)
By adopting a book the library does not have you will be able to read the book first as well as get a plate with your name in the book to thank you for donating the book to the Library. For more information on how to adopt a book please contact the library.
If you have some old books that you are looking to get rid of, you can donate them to the Friends of the Library. These books will be sold for donations at the Friend's Monthly Book Fair or placed in the Friend's Book Nook. The Friends will take any materials EXCEPT:
The Friends will also not accept more than 2 boxes of materials at a time in order for them to have time to get the books ready for the book fair. Please call the library at (830) 796-4213 to set up an appointment to drop off large book donations. Please note that the librarian or volunteer will review the contents of your donation and may choose not to accept it.
